Our client is the Luxembourg-based AIFM/ManCo of a prestigious private banking group with a strong heritage in sustainable investing. They manage a broad range of UCITS and AIF strategies, including Private Equity and Real Estate, for institutional and private clients globally. We are looking for a Risk Officer to join their risk management team for a 6 month period.

The Role:
- Previous work experience in risk management in the investment fund industry (at least 2-3 years) covering UCITS and AIF (Private Equity and Real Estate investment strategies);
- Or previous experience as a consultant in risk management in relation to investment funds (UCITS, AIF);
- Monitor and oversee risk exposure across the firm’s fund range, ensuring alignment with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform risk analysis and reporting for UCITS and AIF structures, including Private Equity and Real Estate strategies.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and investment restrictions.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement and automation of risk management processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Legal teams within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in risk management within the investment fund industry, covering UCITS and AIF structures, including Private Equity and Real Estate investment strategies;
- Alternatively, prior experience as a risk management consultant supporting investment funds (UCITS and AIF);
- Strong understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to UCITS and AIF, particularly investment restrictions;
- Solid knowledge of financial instruments, including derivatives;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and VBA;
- Strong team player with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset, and high attention to detail.
