The business is growing and investing in its product and client-facing teams to support new projects with existing and new customers.
Role overview As a Technical Presales Consultant, you are the technical partner for Sales and Account Management. You lead discovery, design solutions, and run demos and workshops to ensure a complex SaaS platform is positioned, configured, and adopted successfully by clients in the fund‑servicing space. You help shape deals, influence product adoption, and give customers confidence from the first conversation through to handover into delivery.
Key responsibilities
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand requirements, architecture, security/compliance needs, and business objectives.
Translate findings into high-level solution designs, architectures, integration concepts, and technical proposals.
Run demos and customer workshops, clearly explaining complex technical topics in business language.
Work hand‑in‑hand with functional pre-sales and Sales to shape deal strategy and answer RFP/RFI questions.
Coordinate with Product and Services teams and support a smooth handover to implementation after deal closure.
Maintain and refine demo environments, scripts, and light custom integrations or reporting used in sales cycles.
Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar and 5+ years’ experience in complex IT environments (pre-sales, consulting, solution engineering, or implementation).
Strong knowledge of Cloud/SaaS, system integration, and APIs; SQL/PL‑SQL and Oracle are a strong plus. Familiarity with fund‑industry platforms or data models is an advantage.
Excellent analytical skills, structured problem-solving, and curiosity to learn new technologies (exposure to AI is a plus).
Very strong communication and storytelling skills; comfortable presenting to mixed technical/business audiences and simplifying complexity.
Collaborative, low‑ego, comfortable in multicultural, distributed teams, with strong ownership and resilience under pressure.
Full professional proficiency in English and French; any additional language is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and workshops.
