As part of an important phase of expansion, the firm is continuing to strengthen its Luxembourg platform. We have been mandated to identify a Tax Controller to oversee all tax-related matters across a portfolio of Luxembourg holding, financing and investment structures. This is a highly visible position combining tax compliance oversight, governance responsibilities and transaction support. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between internal finance teams, external advisers and senior stakeholders while helping ensure the efficient management of tax matters across the platform. The role offers broad exposure to private equity transactions, financing arrangements, restructurings and cross-border investment structures within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The Role
Own and oversee all Luxembourg tax matters across a portfolio of holding, financing and investment structures.
Act as the primary point of contact for tax matters, coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders, external advisers, service providers and tax authorities.
Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance obligations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across the platform.
Monitor tax risks and ensure compliance with evolving Luxembourg and international tax regulations.
Support acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and financing transactions, providing practical tax input throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Manage external advisers on tax due diligence, structuring projects and other strategic tax initiatives.
Review tax provisions and support tax-related aspects of statutory reporting, audits and financial reporting processes.
Contribute to the enhancement of tax governance, controls and operational processes as the Luxembourg platform continues to grow.
The Person
5–10+ years of Luxembourg tax experience gained within private equity, asset management, professional services or a comparable environment.
Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate taxation, investment structures and related compliance obligations.
Experience overseeing tax compliance across multiple legal entities and complex structures.
Exposure to holding companies, financing vehicles, SPVs and alternative investment structures.
Experience coordinating external tax advisers and managing multiple stakeholders.
Exposure to transaction-related tax matters, including acquisitions, restructurings or financing arrangements, would be advantageous.
Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
Relevant Luxembourg tax, accounting or professional qualification would be considered a strong asset.
Fluent English required; additional European languages would be advantageous.
