The Transfer Agent – Senior Officer is a mid-level operational role within a transfer agency team, primarily focused on managing investor-related transactions and maintaining accurate fund records.

The Role:
- Transaction management: Handling subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, transfers, etc.
- Investor lifecycle management: Setting up accounts and acting as the main contact for investors
- Compliance coordination: Ensuring AML/KYC requirements are met
- Documentation: Preparing and reviewing contract notes, agreements, and investor communications
- Operational oversight: Maintaining registers, systems, and understanding workflows
- Stakeholder coordination: Working with internal teams (legal, compliance, accounting) and external parties (clients, auditors, banks)
- Reporting: Providing investor reports (e.g., confirmations, NAV-related info)
- Support & leadership: Assisting junior staff and supporting the Senior Manager
- Process improvement: Helping maintain procedures and suggesting solutions when issues arise
The Profile:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3–6+ years in transfer agency / fund administration (PE/RE preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fund operations and investor servicing
- Good understanding of AML/KYC and fund documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and coordination skills
- Proactive, team player, with ability to support junior staff
