SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – OPERATIONAL & MANUFACTURING ACCOUNTING – LUXEMBOURG – AC747
Our client is a large international organisation operating in a complex, multi-entity environment. To strengthen its finance function in Eastern Luxembourg, the company is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of operational accounting, closing and statutory reporting for a significant manufacturing entity.
This is a hands-on accounting position. The emphasis is on maintaining an accurate and complete general ledger, applying IFRS and Lux GAAP, and delivering reliable financial information within demanding closing deadlines.
The role combines operational accounting and reporting with financial analysis and control. As an indication, approximately 70% of the scope relates to accounting, closing and statutory reporting, and 30% to financial analysis and control. The balance may vary throughout the reporting cycle.
The successful candidate will work closely with international finance teams, operational departments, auditors and external accounting providers. This position suits someone who enjoys taking direct ownership of accounting, not solely reviewing reports or focusing on budgets and forecasting.
