Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional ready to take ownership of a dynamic, multi-country payroll scope? We're partnering with a globally recognised technology and connectivity leader, one that works with some of the world's most iconic brands across banking, telecoms, and tech, to find a skilled Payroll Specialist.
This is a high-impact, autonomous role sitting at the intersection of HR, Finance, and Operations, giving you real visibility across the full EMEA payroll cycle.
What You'll Be Doing
End-to-End Payroll Management
- Gather, verify, and process monthly payroll data across EMEA, covering new hires, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, stock options, expatriate management, and more
- Manage time and attendance records, including overtime, sick pay, maternity pay, and shift differentials
- Coordinate out-of-sequence payrolls and ensure timely, accurate payment processing
- Own multi-country payroll tax calculations, reconciliations, and annual filings
- Maintain and distribute the annual EMEA payroll calendar
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries
Payroll Accounting & Compliance
- Prepare month-end close reconciliations and periodic audit reports
- Produce quarterly PTO accrual reports for Finance
- Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
- Maintain SOPs and severance/salary continuation schedules for regulatory compliance
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll and accounting discrepancies
- Manage the global commission disbursement process
- Provide ad hoc payroll analysis and reporting to senior leadership
- Contribute to special projects as needed
What You Bring
- 5+ years of multi-country payroll administration experience or in Luxembourg.
- Ideally a previous experience in Luxembourg.
- Fluent English and ideally in French, German is a strong plus
- Experience with Workday is a significant advantage
- Solid grounding in accounting and HR principles
- Proven ability to manage multi-country payroll taxes
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and work independently under pressure
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting background is a plus
