Our client acts as the principal operating entity for non-regulated companies based in Luxembourg, which are solely owned by divisions or funds managed by one of the largest US financial services corporation.
With approximately 90 people locally, the office has been through nice growth over the past few years and is now going through internal promotion which created opportunity to join their accounting team.

The Role:
- Keeping records of financial transactions
- Preparing interim and annual accounts
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting and communicate the reporting to relevant parties
- GAAP reconciliation between several GAAPs (US GAAP, UK GAAP, Lux GAAP, and/or IFRS)
- Calculating tax provisions, and additionally reviewing tax returns
- Liaising with external parties like tax advisors, auditors, joint venture partners, asset managers, property managers
- Responding to administrative/accounting issues and answering queries
- Preparation of distribution memorandums
- Administrative compliance
- Administrative follow up and filing
The Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in Luxembourg in accounting or financial control or audit
- Exposure to Private Equity and Real Estate or Private Debt
- Fluent in English - French and/or German considered as an asset
- Good command of Bob50 is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good working experience with MS Suite, especially Excel
