Are you a Java developer who loves solving real problems and building things from scratch?
We are looking for someone who writes clean code, thinks clearly, and wants to work on something that actually matters, a cutting-edge low-code platform used by the global financial industry.

This is a long-term, permanent opportunity based in Luxembourg, on behalf of one of our clients, a well-established, international FinTech software company.

What You'll Be Working On
You'll join a small, senior R&D team of 3 developers and contribute to the core development of an innovative low-code platform that enables financial institutions to build tailored web-based business applications faster and more efficiently. Think embedded UI kits, unified API layers, and direct interaction with accounting and investor-services engines.

This is not a maintenance role. You'll be designing and building, not just fixing.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain core features of the low-code platform
• Translate product and user needs into clean, working software
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide technical feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack
• Take full ownership of your deliverables

• 3 to 10 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Strong command of Core Java and J2EE technologies (JMS, EJB, JDBC, JPA)
• Solid experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Good understanding of REST API design and implementation
• Ability to write clean, maintainable unit tests (JUnit)
• Familiarity with design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
• Knowledge of relational databases: Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent English communication skills

• Experience with frontend frameworks: React, Vue, or Svelte
• Experience in R&D environments or on low-code/no-code platforms
• French or any other European language

• Reads a problem carefully and solves exactly that problem, no more, no less
• Writes code that works and is clean, not over-engineered
• Is motivated to grow and takes ownership
• Is collaborative and brings ideas to the table at the right moment
• Wants to be part of a small, high-performing team where their contribution is visible every day
