Job Search IT Administrator - AC635

IT Administrator - AC635

On behalf of an international, regulated fintech company operating a digital assets / payments platform, we are looking for a hands‑on IT Administrator to support the Luxembourg office of around 10 employees. The role is the local “go‑to” point for all day‑to‑day IT topics for this office. Most infrastructure, development, and core IT operations are managed centrally by Group IT based in Asia, so this position is focused on end‑user support, Microsoft 365 administration and local office IT coordination, not on software development, DevOps or infrastructure architecture.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide daily end‑user IT support (on‑site and remote) for hardware, software and connectivity issues
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 (accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint – basic level)
  • Manage user accounts and access rights (creation, changes, deactivation) in coordination with Group IT.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding: laptop preparation, account setup, access to tools, retrieval of equipment, etc.
  • Take care of laptop and endpoint management: basic configuration, updates, troubleshooting, coordination of repairs/replacements.
  • Oversee general office IT administration (printers, meeting rooms equipment, network basics in liaison with vendors and Group IT)
  • Coordinate with external vendors and Group IT in Asia to escalate issues, follow up on tickets and support local projects.
  • Maintain basic IT documentation and inventory for the Luxembourg office (devices, accounts, licenses).

Your profile

  • 3–7 years of experience in IT support, system administration or similar end‑user facing roles.
  • Solid hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 and the Windows workplace environment (configuration, troubleshooting, user support).
  • Good understanding of user and access management (e.g. Active Directory / Entra ID or similar).
  • Comfortable working autonomously as the local IT contact in a small office, while collaborating remotely with central IT teams.
  • Service‑oriented mindset, strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics to non‑technical colleagues.
  • Fluent in English; any additional language (French, German, Luxembourgish, Japanese, etc.) is considered an advantage.
  • Authorised already to work in Luxembourg - no sponsorship for this position

What they offer

  • A permanent part‑time position (50–60%) in Luxembourg City centre, ideal for professionals seeking a stable role with a balanced workload.
  • A varied, hands‑on scope where you own the local IT support function and work closely with international colleagues, including Group IT in Asia.
  • The chance to work in a fast‑evolving fintech environment with high standards of security and regulatory compliance, without heavy on‑call or data centre responsibilities.
  • A collaborative and respectful working environment, with the opportunity to improve processes and user experience over time.
