Our client, a well-established financial services provider in Luxembourg, is looking for an experienced Interim Daily Manager to support its Depositary business on a temporary basis.
The role will focus on the day-to-day management of the depositary operations team, ensuring that activities are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Depositary team
- Allocate workloads and monitor the quality and timely delivery of work
- Review and follow up on depositary oversight and operational matters
- Oversee cash-flow monitoring, ownership verification and asset-related processes
- Ensure appropriate controls are maintained around fund transactions
- Manage operational issues, escalations and client-related matters
- Act as a key point of contact for AIFMs, fund administrators, auditors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with internal procedures and relevant CSSF/AIFMD requirements
- Support process improvements, remediation initiatives and/or management transition where required
The profile:
- 7+ years of relevant experience within Depositary, Fund Services or a similar Luxembourg financial services environment
- Strong understanding of Depositary operations and the regulatory framework applicable to AIFs
- Previous experience managing or supervising a team
- Comfortable dealing with operational issues, escalations and multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to take ownership quickly and operate independently in an interim environment
- Fluent in English; French or other European languages would be an advantage
- Proven experience in interacting with the regulator as authorized manager.
