German Speaking Complaints Consultant - 3 Months

Location: Client company in Kirchberg
Contract: 3-month interim (with potential renewal)

The Opportunity

Join a diverse, inclusive team operating in an international and informal environment. As a Complaints Consultant, you'll be part of a small cross-functional delivery team handling complaints from customers and their legal representatives regarding legacy insurance products, sales processes, and associated Terms & Conditions. Your role is central to ensuring customers receive timely resolutions or are kept informed about any delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complaints effectively and within policy guidelines, balancing internal standards with customer interests
• Investigate and resolve complaints in collaboration with business partners
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including legal, actuarial, and decision-making teams as well as external lawyers to deliver timely responses
• Liaise closely with the first-line customer service centre to ensure accurate, consistent communication
• Keep customers informed of progress and any delays
• Support internal reporting activities
• Assist in preparing responses to regulatory bodies (e.g., CAA, BaFin, IVASS)

About You

• Proven customer service experience in a professional environment
• Life insurance background is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of insurance products, legal frameworks, and industry services
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
• Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe tools
• Adaptable and solutions-oriented you thrive in changing environments and bring fresh ideas
• A positive influence on colleagues, demonstrating strong professional values
