Job Search Authorised Manager

Authorised Manager

Authorised Manager, EU Operations & Governance Projects - Investment Firm - NT517

A manager sponsored regulated PSF in Luxembourg  (MiFID-licensed entity overseeing 5 branches across Europe) is looking to appoint a senior professional who has the capacity to rapidly up-skill into the Authorised Manager (operations) function.

The role sits between regulatory oversight of MIFID operations, and cross-functional project delivery across the EU entities: office openings, organisation redesigns, integration projects, regulatory implementations, etc. The kind of projects that will require high-level consultancy skills in planning, influence and execution.

The authorised team in Lux is very lean which means substantial exposure across the business, broad-multi faceted responsibility, and a direct collaboration with senior stakeholders from day one. The entity is the licensed MIFID backbone enabling ~100 people across Europe to undertake business. This context matters. This is a central role in how the business operates today and in an evolving sense.

They want someone with substantial experience withing a similar project driven mandate – likely from a Consulting or Advisory within the funds industry as it is not necessarily required to join as an Authorised Manager from day one. But the path is clearly mapped out: and the expectation is that within 12 months the gaps are closed. Therefore, they are looking for someone who is hungry, structured, and comfortable presenting to senior management and influencing SMEs across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations and company governance for the Luxembourg MiFID firm, including administration, complaints, finance, IT, and monitoring marketing/product activities across branches.
  • Plan and lead cross-functional project delivery (in collaboration with COO) across the EU entities: office openings, organisation redesigns, integration projects, regulatory implementations, etc
  • Oversee branch activities in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, and Netherlands through coordination, supervision, regular visits, and execution of EU expansion plans.
  • Coordinate international strategy, operations, and regulatory projects: plan timelines, analyze data, develop recommendations, and drive process improvements for organizational impact.
  • Participate in governance committees and implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, identify gaps, and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
